Our executive team brings 200+ years of combined transportation and logistics experience. Above all, we strive everyday for execution excellence. We do what is right for our customers, and our people, we never settle for good enough, always striving to do better, and most importantly we strive to BE good and not just LOOK good in all aspects of the business.

Our History

As the founder of traditional retail Pool distribution we have been in business for over 3 decades, starting in the early 90’s as USA Carriers. We built upon that with the additional quality acquisitions of Service Express and Pinch forming today what is known as US Logistics Solutions. We are a family run business who cares about our employees, just ask Russ Heim who began in the 90’s with USA Carriers and has run several of our large facilities and still with us today, or Joe Rothley, also from USA Carriers who is now the RVP Operations of our central region. If that isn’t enough lets go down to Lakeland, Fl one of our largest facilities and speak to Anthony Silvera who is still a driver for us 30 years after beginning his career with USA Carriers. Add to that Service Express, another quality company that began in the 90’s. Keith Galloway runs one of the best operating facilities in our network, and he came from Service Express, Keith’s entire management and office staff also come from there and are still with him today, all these years later. He has 3 drivers (Rodney King, Brian Stewart and Kerry Tyler) that will also attest to why they have stayed. Moving to our last acquisition Pinch Carriers, down in Texas we have Rebecca Pires who leads our Account Management team. Come do business with family, people who have grown together for over 3 decades.

Our Team

Robert Norris

CEO

Robert Norris is the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to serving in this role, Robert was the Vice President of Safety and Labor Relations with USF Reddaway, a premier regional LTL carrier on the west coast, from 2018 to 2020. Robert served as the West Region Vice President for Forward Air from 2013 to 2018, overseeing both the Pool Distribution segment and later the LTL segment. Prior to this role, Robert was the director of Safety and Loss Prevention for Central Freight Lines from 2011 to 2013. Prior to joining Central, Robert was employed by Uti Logistics with responsibility for managing a large distribution center for The Home Depot. Prior to that role, Robert had spent 13 years with Consolidated Freightways and 7 additional years with USF Reddaway starting as a front line supervisor and rising to a Region Vice President with USF Reddaway. Robert brings more than 30 years of transportation and logistics experience from different perspectives, including LTL, distribution, air freight, ocean, international and Pool distribution.

Angela Timmons

Sr. Vice President of Sales / Business Development

Angela is responsible for the development of new business growth, as well as, organic growth. Angela was with Forward Air, Inc. for 21 years. Prior to her current position, she was Vice President of Sales for the Pool / Retail Division, and Vice President of  Quality & Training for the Pool / Retail division of FAI from January 2014 through January 2016 focused on all aspects of operational process improvement. During her tenure with Forward Air Inc., she has also held various roles as Vice President of Pharmaceutical and HDV Division, Director of Sales/National Accounts, National Recruiting Manager and Senior Sales Manager positions. She has served on several internal committees, lead training initiatives, as well as played a key role in multiple company acquisitions. Prior to Forward Air Angela held Operations positions. Angela brings 20+ years of experience in both Sales and Operations in several key areas of transportation in LTL, FTL, Ocean, Airfreight, CFS, Retail, Pharmaceutical, Warehousing, and several other supply chain touch points.  Angela attended Palm Beach Atlantic University and studied Accounting.
